Best drinks gifts to buy for Christmas 2024
Moth cocktail crackers
Moth is one of my go-to brands when it comes to canned cocktails and its fun Christmas cracker pack is a great option for the festive table. Each cracker comes with a full-sized MOTH cocktail. These include a variety of classic drinks, from cosmos to (my personal favourite) a zesty margarita.

LSA Savoy nick & nora glasses
This style of glass is most commonly associated with the martini but they work well for any spirit-forward cocktail served without ice, like a daiquiri. These delicate, finely made mouth-blown glasses will add instant chic and polish to the final drink – perfect for those looking to take their cocktail game up a notch.
Available from:
LSA International (£65, set of 2)
Black Lines Oatnog and Paloma
Perfect for easy entertaining, turn up to a Christmas party with a bottled cocktail and you’ll become the host’s new best friend. There are lots of excellent options for bottled cocktails out there but for something fun and on trend try the delicious Black Lines Paloma with tequila, grapefruit soda, citrus and Maldon salt – serve over ice with a slice of fresh grapefruit.
I’m also very partial to a creamy cocktail this time of year and its vegan Oatnog with Two Drifters Signature Rum, oat milk and spices is deliciously creamy and velvety.
Available from:
Selfridges (£22.99 for Paloma)
Black Lines Drinks (£19.99 for Oatnog)
Cocchi Vermouth di Torino and The Aperitivo! Co Dry Vermouth
Looking for a gift for a budding mixologist? My drinks cabinet always includes vermouth as it’s a key ingredient in many classic cocktails, as well as being delicious on its own as an aperitif over ice or mixed with sparkling water. Cocchi Vermouth di Torino is a classic Italian sweet red vermouth – richly fruity and spicy, it’s perfect for negronis and manhattans. At the other end of the flavour spectrum, The Bristol-made Aperitivo! Co Dry Vermouth is a must for martinis, with floral and green apple notes.
Available from:
The Whisky Exchange: Cocchi Vermouth £25.95
The Whisky Exchange: The Aperitivo! Co Dry Vermouth (£23.95)
Fabbri Amarena cherries in syrup
Posh cocktail cherries make a great stocking gift. They’re usually more expensive than regular cocktail cherries but far superior in flavour and are a key garnish in cocktails like an old fashioned (you can also use the syrup in drinks – try in a manhattan). Fabbri’s glossy, juicy, wild Amarena cherries come in a beautiful jar perfect for gifting. As well as cocktails, they’re also great in desserts or even spooned over yogurt.

Sous Chef (£12.99)
LA Brewery Sparkling White Rose
A glass of something fizzy is essential at Christmas and, when it comes to a non-alcoholic alternative to champagne or prosecco, your best choice is a sparkling tea. Elegantly packaged, LA’s sparkling white rose features assam and white monkey tea kombucha flavoured with elderflower and rose petals. Crisp, floral and complex, it’s a really lovely option if you’re abstaining this festive season.
Available from:
LA Brewery (£12.99)
Pour & Sip Whisky Advent Calendar
Boozy advent calendars are a great way to explore and taste different spirits without committing to a full-sized bottle. Master of Malt’s popular whisky subscription service has released its own calendar full of favourites from the MoM team and Pour & Sip members.
